San Vicente A’s scoops pennant and championship title
As many observers predicted, the A’s prevailed over the aggressive Dandan Blue Jays 6-3 in one of the most outstanding, dramatic and thrilling baseball game witnessed by a jam pack crowd last Saturday at the San Vicente Elementary School baseball field.
Brian Vergith blasted three hits in three trips to the plate and also plated in 3 runs, enough cast votes to earn the finals MVP while the stellar pitching of Adelbert Santos’ 12 strike outs, 5 hits, walk 4 as they led the A’s to their second straight title.
The Blue Jays suffered their third loss only to the hands of trhe champion A’s in the regular season and the sweet one, the championship crown. Earlier, the Tanapag Braves stopped the Oleai Ol’Aces 11-9 for the consolation for third place.
