The Marianas Repatriation Association, Okinawa group, a frequent visitor of the CNMI for the past 30 years as part of the yearly pilgrimage celebration for regular memorial services, arrive on Saipan recently.

The group performed during the Liberation Day festival last Saturday and took part in the Okinawan Memorial Service at the Okinawan tower in Marpi last Sunday.

According to Choken Ginoza, MRA chairman and the honorary ambassador for the Visit the Marianas 1999, he wants to introduce to the islands the Chatan Jargal Youth Association of Okinawa, one of the many EISA dancers from that prefecture.

The group was hosted by PDI.
