Our accommodation at the Hafa Adai Hotel was exemplary, with the helpful and ever smiling staff always eager to provide assistance or keen for an impromptu chat. To Continental Micronesia for providing a safe and comfortable journey, thank you. To all the fantastic local people who gave up their time throughout the weekend to assist at either of the more than adequate food banquets provided, or to assist weary athletes and to provide inspirational support during the race, we sincerely thank you.
We are extremely grateful to Bill Sakovich for giving us the opportunity to not only compete in a tremendous event but to visit a beautiful, friendly and unique part of the world. Your efforts in catering for the athletes every need and attention to detail during race day have made the Tagaman Triathlon the highlight of our ten years involvement in the sport.
We both intend to return for Tagaman 2000 and early indications show a large contingent of eager athletes from Cairns are keen to visit this great place we have not stopped talking about.
