Philippine Centennial Queen to be crowned today

The Filipino community celebrates tonight the coronation of the Philippine Centennial Queen at a glittery ceremony to be held at Hotel Nikko.

The show, organized by the Visayas Mindanao Association (VISMINDA) of the CNMI, starts at 7:00 pm. Proceeds of the tickets and other funds raised by the organization will go to Bantay Bata Foundation in the Philippines. Raffle prizes will be given away to lucky patrons.

The six candidates representing different regions in the Philippines who will vie for the crown are Nelia Tellei, Marian Claudette Tan, Maricelle Cabrera, Analiza Copino, Joana Bradley Simao and Lourdes Manzanilla.
