I agree
Well John, as usual you are right more often than not.
I just do not think you went far enough in your analysis of the situation regarding the tyranny that Tinian and Rota hold over the Saipan majority.
It is just this situation that makes it impossible for my family to support our existing Senators any longer. If our Saipan senators want our support than they should wholeheartedly publicly support the position held by Stanley Torres and Jean Rayphand.
If they feel (probably correctly) that this would cause them a problem with the Tinian and Rota senators then this would rapidly become apparent to the voters of Saipan and the general populace would then overturn the situation.
I think that Tinian and Rota should have the power to spend every tax dollar they collect but I fail to see why they should be able to spend my tax dollars. I have no more interest in supporting them than I have in helping to support Guam.
But, to carry this idea to the natural conclusion, why does CUC use part of my utility bill to subsidize Tinian and Rota? I have no reason to pay part of the utility bill for Tinian and Rota residents but CUC is doing exactly that.
