Teenager held for poking gun

A 17-year old male is now being detained at the Division of Youth Services after he pointed a gun and threatened to shoot an employee of Kentucky Fried Chicken, according to Rose Ada, public information officer of the Department of Public Safety.

He is facing charges of disturbing the peace and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Nineteen-year-old Jay San Nicolas was walking in a parking lot when the suspect stopped him with a rifle Monday night. San Nicolas run back to KFC store and called up the police at around 7:42 p.m.

About 15 minutes later, the suspect was arrested at a Mobil Gas station in San Jose, and police found the gun apparently dumped by the suspect at a fence line in Ada Gym.
