PTSA meeting at Oleai school

The Principal of Oleai Elementary School announces that the regular OES PTSA meeting will be held today, Nov. 9, 1999, 6:00 p.m., at the school cafeteria.

Call for artwork

The Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture is seeking artworks from visual and contemporary artists for the upcoming Island Artists and Christmas Crafts Exhibit scheduled to run from Nov. 19 through Dec. 29, 1999 at the CNMI Gallery for Arts and Culture.

Deadline for the submission of artworks will be on Monday, Nov. 15, 1999.

Registration forms are available at the Council. There is no registration fee.

The Department of Public Safety announced yesterday that it will be conducting a DUI Sobriety Checkpoint this weekend.
