The Department of Public Safety’s police officer in Rota will conduct saturation patrols and set up DUI sobriety checkpoint in the island municipality this weekend.
The purpose of this checkpoint is to deter and detect violators of the CNMI Traffic Laws. Drivers found to be impaired will be dealt with according to the traffic laws in the CNMI. Others will receive informational safety materials.
