GOODWILL GAMES Saipan vs Japan in football match on Dec. 18

A historical event of major significance is about to happen on Saipan on Dec. 18, 1999.

The Saipan Youth Football League will be hosting a Goodwill Game with Mishima High School of Japan on Saturday at the Airport field.

This event will be the first time that the American football is played between Saipan and Japan.

Opening ceremonies will commence at 9:30 a.m., to be followed by the game between SYFL Champion Eastern Eagles and Mishima High School Poseidons.
