When two winless teams meet face-to-face, one definitely will feel the thrill of victory and unfortunately the other yet another agony of defeat with Team Toles Gone getting out of the cellar with a 7-0 forfeiture win over Team Sofang.

Team Sofang had three innings to field the required 10 players with just nine, but were not able to come up with one more with the score tied at 4-all after three innings for the forfeiture. The win was Toles Gone’s first in eight games and dropped Sofang to 0-10.

The second game of the night saw Team Peleliu exploded for 19 in the top of the sixth to defeat the Warriors, 28-20. The Warriors led 14-9 after five complete innings, but two costly errors pumped up Peleliu enroute to a 28-14 lead after 5 1/2 innings of play.

The Warriors had one last shot in the bottom of the sixth due to time limitations but could manage only six for their fourth loss in ten games and improved Peleliu to 5-6. Poland Masaharu went 3 for 3 with six RBI’s to lead Pelleliu. Francis George and Ismael Aguon each went 4 for 4 in a losing effort.

Tkel Olikong, Everette and Clark Ngiraidong each homered to lead Power Factor to a sixth inning 17-7 shut-out over the Laly 4 in the third game. of the night. Laly 4 kept the game close in the first four innings trailing by just three runs, 7-4, before the Power Factors then scored 10 of the next 13 runs for the shut-out.

Team Fadang were just one out away from upsetting the powerful Bad Boyz squad, but an error by rightfielder Ben Camacho turned the outcome around as Tom Diaz blasted the game bagger, a two-run shot to right for an 11-10 victory, their eighth win in eleven outings and handed Fadang their eighth loss in ten games. Diaz led the winners with two homeruns and five RBI’s and Jay Morishita led Fadang going 3 for 4 with two inside-the-park homerun with five RBI’s as well.
