Christmas tree recycling
The Division of Solid Waste Management of the Department of Public Works will be setting up a program to recycle Christmas trees this year. The trees will be ground into mulch and used in the parks to improve plants.
The Division of Solid Waste Management of the Department of Public Works will be setting up a program to recycle Christmas trees this year. The trees will be ground into mulch and used in the parks to improve plants.
The public is requested to bring their trees to a designated area at the Puerto Rico dump site. Those who plan to bring their trees are advised to remove wire, nails and other metals attached to the trees, as well as plastic and ornaments.
