Social Security’s visit to Tinian, originally scheduled for Monday, Jan. 24th, has been rescheduled. The trip had to be postponed because ferry service was suspended due to bad weather.

A representative from the agency will visit Tinian on Friday, Jan. 28, 2000. The representative will be available to receive applications for Social Security Numbers, to discuss Social Security and SSI benefits and to provide information about the programs administered by Social Security.

The representative will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at CCA office at the gym in San Jose Village.

For more information, Tinian residents can call Social Security on Saipan, toll free, at 433-9421. The local number on Saipan is 234-6203.
