NMI artists to join Snow Festival
The Marianas Visitors Authority is sending four artists to join in the Sapporo Snow Festival from Feb. 4-8, 2000. This will be the third year that the CNMI will be represented in the annual competition. In 1999, the CNMI placed third in the snow carving competition.

Joining the trip with Martin Duenas are Wesley Foster, Marianas High School teacher; Max Cabrera, Marianas High School student; Daniel Babauta, local artist; and Antio Piailug, artist.
