“Why is it important to stay drug-free”
My name is Michael Guerrero. I am and always will be drug-free. The reason why I am drug-free is because I have seen people who do drugs and throw their lives away. The people who use drugs lose their brain cells.
I don’t want to get bad grades. I want to get into Georgetown University. Drugs mess up your body.
I like soccer. It is one of my favorite sports, but if I do drugs, I would not be able to run, kick, or have fun. I have seen many people get killed or arrested because of drugs and I do not want to go there. I want to live a long, healthy life with my family and friends.
When I look at my classmates, I can tell who is or was using drugs because of their family problems. It is also the parents’ job to tell their children about drugs. I have lost relatives due to drugs. People who first try drugs, think that they only tried it once and another would not hurt. But it does hurt you and your family.
Please, I ask you parents to show a good example by not using drugs. Please tell your children about drugs and that those drugs are bad. It does not matter who wins or loses.
