Hyatt donates $15,000 for CNMI children

Mustafa Issa, general manager of Hyatt Regency Saipan, presented Wednesday a check worth $15,000 to CHC Volunteers' Association to benefit the children of CNMI. The funds were raised through Hyatt's Children of the World Charity Sweepstakes Campaign.

Mustafa Issa, general manager of Hyatt Regency Saipan, presented Wednesday a check worth $15,000 to CHC Volunteers’ Association to benefit the children of CNMI. The funds were raised through Hyatt’s Children of the World Charity Sweepstakes Campaign.

Hyatt hosted the Children of the World Charity Sweepstakes contest to fulfill their commitment to the fundraising goals of helping the children of the world and local charities.

“This promotion was our way of starting the new millennium by helping the children of our future,” said Mr. Issa. “These are both very worthy causes and we feel very good about this effort to show our spirit of giving and commitment to the community we do business in.”

The money raised was donated to CHC Volunteers Association to help the children of CNMI with respiratory problems and to improve the Pediatrics Ward of the hospital.
