CLEAN-UP BRIGADE DEQ March rendezvous at Hopwood Jr.

This month DEQ Clean-up Brigade will be at it again and picking up trash at Hopwood Jr. High School Beach to PIC Beach on Saturday..

If you would like to volunteer your time to clean up and beautify the island beaches then join this month;s rendezvous at Hopwood Jr. High School Beach. A DEQ representative in bright green T-shirt emblazoned with “Pick it Up!” will meet volunteers at 8:00 a.m. The brigade cleans up to 10:00 a.m. and then breaks for drinks.

This month, outstanding brigade members that have participated in at least 10 monthly clean-ups will receive the brigade cap and brigade shirts for volunteers who have participated in at least three clean-up.
