Covenant Day essay contest winners to be announced

The Council for Humanities will announce tomorrow the winners in the Covenant Day Essay Writing Contest during a special session at the House of Representatives at 1:00 p.m..

Some 110 students from private and public schools in Saipan, Rota and Tinian submitted their entries for the contest. First prize is $350 cash, Second prize $250 and Third prize $150. They will also receive plaque of appreciation from the Humanities Council.

A certificate of recognition will be given to the rest of the participants.
