April Fool's Day 5K Run
The Saipan Runners will be hosting the first April Fool's Day 5K (3.1M) Fun Run next Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Banzai Cliff in Marpi. Registration will be from 5:45 a.m. to 6:15 a.m.. Race starts promptly at 6:30 a.m.
The Saipan Runners will be hosting the first April Fool’s Day 5K (3.1M) Fun Run next Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Banzai Cliff in Marpi. Registration will be from 5:45 a.m. to 6:15 a.m.. Race starts promptly at 6:30 a.m.
The course begins and ends at Banzai Cliff, and goes north past the Last Command Post with a turn around the road toward Cowtown. The entire course of 5 kilometers, or 3.1 miles, is accurately measured with a wheel and marked at 1M splits.
Pre-registration forms are available at Nuvo in Garapan (234-3030), or Safety Systems (Saipan, Inc. in Gualo Rai (235-6500). Cost is $10.00 for race entry, or $15.00 for entry and one year membership in Saipan Runners.
