On Saturday, May 20th, starting at 7:00 am, a Charity Golf Tournament will take place at the Mariana Country Club with the awards ceremony to take place right after the event at PauPau Beach.

The tournament format will be a double peoria and prizes will be awarded to the first 10 top winners. Handicap information is required for pairing purposes only and MVA will be awarding winners with cash or prizes and trophies for all winners.

In order to properly conduct the pairings for this prestigious event, a strict deadline for submission of registration forms is Wednesday May 17th. Registration forms may be picked up at Mariana Country Club, Kingfisher Golf Links, LaoLao Bay Golf Resort, Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort, Las Vegas Golf & Tennis, and the Marianas Visitors Authority. Fee for this event is $75.00 per player.

The Charity Golf Tournament is organized as part of the 2000 CNMI Tourism Month activities, which are created to promote the industry within the CNMI community.

Proceeds from this event will go to Karidat, CNMI Youth Center for Music and Performing Arts, and Crime Stoppers. This partnership between the private and public sector in support of the CNMI’s number one industry will guarantee the development of the community in the years to come.

For More information on this event, contact Jack Diaz or Ed Diaz at the Marianas Visitors Authority.
