Saipanda Bike Race on May 27
This is to advise the general public that the Saipanda Bike Race originally scheduled for Saturday, May 13, 2000, has been postponed and re-scheduled for Saturday, May 27, 2000 due to inclement weather and out of concern for the safety of all the participants.
Interested parties may still sign up for participation in this event by contacting the Marianas Visitors Authority at 664-3200/01. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, May 19th. Registration fee will be $15.00 per person prior to the deadline and $20.00 for entries after the deadline.
Proceeds for this event will go to Karidat, CNMI Youth Center for Music and the Performing Arts, and Crime Stoppers.
The Saipanda Bike Race is organized as part of the 2000 CNMI Tourism Month activities that was created to promote the tourism industry within the CNMI community.
