Sasaki wins RGA’s qualifying game
Oliver Sasaki is doing what all golfer dream of doing: to improve every game they played.
Although he struggled from off the tee box, he still managed to get on the green in regulation on most holes. After 18 holes of play he shot a gross score of 83 and a net of 67 to claim first place at the RGA’s qualifying game at Laolao Bay’s West Course.
Sasaki had already won the Ace of the Month in February, his first game as an RGA member.
Tony Satur, who shot an impressive gross 74 netted a 68, set the qualifying score for May.
Sonny Flores came third with a gross score of 79 and a net score of 69, which was matched by Serafin Pablo who settled for fourth place on a score card comparison
The RGA will hold it’s May Ace Tournament at 7:00 a.m., Sunday, May 28 at the Mariana Country Club. Reservations are available for 16 players and registration is 6:45 a.m. The score to beat is Tony Satur’s net of 68.
