Board of Advisors for CNMI Women
The Governor’s Office of Women’s Affairs solicits community participation in the formulation and organization of its Board of Advisors for CNMI Women
The office plans to create and organize an association of women to serve as its Board of Advisors. The main duty and responsibility of this organization is to provide the special assistant for Women’s Affairs with advice and recommendation for new programs, projects, or continue current programs and services.
The Board of Advisors will be comprised of community-based volunteers from the islands of Saipan, Rota, and Tinian. They will be responsible to the special assistant for Women’s Affairs for programs and services in their respective jurisdiction.
Women from every ethnic community throughout the Northern Mariana Islands are welcome to register and participate. Current or past officers of established associations of women are encouraged to become members.
