Saipan Little League All-Stars named

Based on their capability, availability, performance and attitude, the managers of each respective team voted the 2000 Saipan Little League All-Stars for the upcoming District’s 4th Annual Little League Tournament. The tournament will begin on Friday at 11:00 a.m.
Paul Perry Santos, the 2000 regular season’s Most Valuable Player, leads the pack of 13 other players that include teammates Esteban Cruz, Pat Alepuyo and Justin Dela Cruz, from the pennant champion San Vicente A’s.

Rounding up the Saipan Sluggers

Championship MVP Jonathan Sablan, James Kintol and Franco Flores, from the 2000 champions Dandan Blue Jays

Tyron Taro and Zach Concepcion, from the runner-up champion Kaultz Glass Glazers.

The board of directors and the district administrator’s staff unanimously selected Greg Camacho of the Little Knights as manager of the Saipan squad, Mike “Rock” Guerrero of the Little Sluggers as head coach, and Eliceo Castro of Matuis Twins as assistant coach.

Far-East Little League Regional Tournament in Guam.
