Rotary Club's Summer Youth Basketball League opens today

The 9th Annual Saipan Rotary Club Summer Youth Basketball League opens today with back to back championPhenoms going for a three peat. The only other team to accomplish this feat was the Ol'Aces, which won five titles of seven tries. After a two-year absence the Ol'Aces are back for the 2000 season. Also in the way of the phenoms will be runner up champion Get Covered Surf, San Antonio Sixers and several other up and coming teams. Today's game will feature the Phenoms versus the Sixers. All games will be played at 5:30 p.m. at the Gilbert C. Ada gym every Mondays thru Fridays.
