All roads will lead to Hyatt Regency Hotel this weekend for a rare back-to-back spectacular musical event at the Gilligan’s, featuring the unique artistic performances of popular Filipino band The Blocks 2000 and Guam-based all-female group Blame Adam.

The Blocks 2000 have traveled practically around the Philippines and Asia performing before an awed crowd at jam-packed venues in Manila, Myanmar, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The group’s explosive performance brought them to Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Gilligan’s in 1998 when the band did a front act for a two-night concert by popular Philippine actor Aga Muhlach.

The Blocks 2000 is proud of its newest vocal performers — Me-Anne Malayaw and John Dayday — who hail from the southern Philippine provinces of Davao and Cagayan de Oro.

The group has been performing professionally for the past eight years. The Blocks’ live performances have filled up venues at various five-star hotels in both in the Philippines and major countries in Asia.

Performing back to back with The Blocks 2000 tonight and Saturday evening at the Gilligan’s is all-female Guam-based band Blame Adam that has performed several times in different Saipan venues during the last couple of months.

Blame Adam, which groups five career and musically-gifted women from Guam, is never a failure in sending its audience to frenzy through their intense repertoire whenever they perform.

All five members of the band work in their respective professions during daytime. They group together after office hours and on weekends to do what they do best: perform.
