Missing cat now back in Saipan Zoo
Ylai, the missing African serval cat, is now back in Saipan Zoo.
Ylai, the missing African serval cat, is now back in Saipan Zoo.
It turned out that Ylai has been hanging around the garden of Eddie and Melia Johnson near the Magellan Hotel in Capitol Hill for the past three days apparently enjoying his new found freedom.
Ylai was well fed by the people in the neighborhood with hotdogs and fish.
Saipan Zoo owner Frank Aldan said they have been trying to catch him since Saturday but Ylai has been very elusive. However, a hotdog injected with medicine was fed to Ylai, slowing the cat’s movement. Finally, the owner got hold of the African serval cat, one of the most lovable pets in the zoo.
