5th MHS Cultural Exchange program

Marianas High School has announced that it will be hosting Miyazawa Gakuen students from Japan under the cultural exchange and homestay program from July 23 to 31 in Saipan.

The MHS Activities Office is in need of 18 interested host families to sponsor a Miyazawa Gakuen High School students for eight days and eight nights of cultural activities..

Miyazawa Gakuen High School in Yokohama, Japan is a sister school of Marianas High School for 14 years. The annual program consists of day to day educational activities that the Miyazawa Gakuen student and your child may participate in during the weekdays and one evening, while most evenings and the weekend are spent with the host family.

For more information to register and be a homestay sponsor, please contact Eleanor Tenorio of MHS at 664-3816 or Peter Le’au at 664-3824 or leave a message to Doreen Tudela at 664-3829. Those interested to be one of the sponsors should call before July 17.
