Chess tournament on Sunday
The CNMI Chess Association will conduct its "Active Chess tourney for kids, youths, novice, non-master and master chess players on July 16, 2000 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 13 Fisherman Pavilion along Beach Road in Garapan.
The CNMI Chess Association will conduct its “Active Chess tourney for kids, youths, novice, non-master and master chess players on July 16, 2000 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 13 Fisherman Pavilion along Beach Road in Garapan.
The tournament is a one-day event, minimum of five games and time control is 15 minutes per player. There will be a $5.00 entry fee for the cash prize.
All chess members and non-members are invited to join the tournament in preparation for the upcoming team tournament, which is to start on the first Sunday of September.
