Alleged child molester granted bail

Superior Court Associate Judge Timothy H. Bellas yesterday ordered a $25,000 bail for the temporary release of Angel Palacios who was charged with sexual abuse of a child.

Investigation showed that Mr. Palacios, 28, sexually abused a 23-month-old baby in Gualo Rai while the parents of the child were at the hospital. The baby was left under the care of the aunt after the father was taken to the Commonwealth Health Center by the mother.

When the victim’s mother went home to change the baby’s diaper, she noticed that the child was in pain as she pointed to her sex organ.
