CHC welcomes new anesthesiologist
Dr. Satish Joshi recently arrived on Saipan and will be joining the Anesthesia Division of the Department of Surgery next week.
He is originally from India, where he completed medical school and received his MD in Anesthesia.
Dr. Joshi then went to England for further training in anesthesiology and other medical disciplines. Dr. Joshi moved to the United States in 1955 to do an anesthesia residency at Metro Health Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He went on to complete a fellowship in Advanced Clinical Anesthesia at Case Western, one of the premier medical centers in the United States.
Dr. Joshi will replace John Dellamanna (certified registered nurse anesthetist), who is moving to Guam after more than four years of valuable service to CHC.
Dr. Joshi will join Dr. James Starodub, who is also a member of the Division of Anesthesia. Later this fall, another anesthesiologist is expected to join CHC.
