Audition ongoing for Christmas Chorale
If you’re still looking for something to do over the Christmas holidays, the Christmas chorale sponsored by the Friends of the Arts is still open for people who would like to come and participate in a special Christmas program.
The program will include standard Christmas medleys such as the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Alleluia Cannon, the 12 Songs of Christmas, Mariana Noel, and several others. In addition, there will be special solos including a bagpipe rendition.
Performances are scheduled for Dec. 14th at the Street Market Garapan, Dec. 16th at the Kristo Rai church in Garapan, Dec. 17th at the SDA auditorium and Dec. 15th at the Mt. Carmel School in collaboration with Galvin Guerrero and his Mt. Carmel school performers. In addition there will be a joint program with the Guam Handbell Chorus on the Dec. 9th.
It sounds like a very exciting program and we hope that anybody who is interested in joining it will show up on Tuesday evening at 7:00 at the SDA clinic auditorium on Quatermaster Road between Middle Road.
