Final plans were completed last week for this year’s Saipan Celebration of the 265th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps. This year’s celebration and dinner will be held on Friday, Nov. 10th at the Aqua Beach Resort Hotel.

It has long been said, “ONCE A MARINE, ALWAYS A MARINE”, and at no time is this more true than on Nov. 10th, that most hallowed of days in the long and glorious history of the United States Marine Corps! For, as all Marines, past or present know, it was on this day, in 1775, that the Corps was born, and it is on this day annually for the past 265 years that Marines the world over, on land, and sea, have taken time out to honor their Corps.

All Marines, and Navy Corpsmen who served with the Marines are invited to attend this gala event and to pay tribute to their Corps.

For details, contact this year’s USMC birthday chair Capt. Joe Childs (USMC Ret.) at (Work) 235-4888, (Cell) 483-1775, or by e-mail at MARINE@gtepacifica.net.
