ACT meeting on Wednesday

Where: Marianas High School Cafeteria

When: Wednesday, Dec. 6th, 6:00 p.m.

Who: All Teachers and others interested in celebrating and supporting the teaching profession and the education of students.

Why: To address concerns and issues regarding improving teaching and education in the CNMI.

Agenda: How to become ACTIVE and involved in promoting and improving the teaching profession and increasing community respect and support.

To identify issues for ACTION committees, some initial suggestions are:

• By Laws/defining ACT’s role in the CNMI

• Membership/support

• PR, PIO and community Relations

• Projects and Finance

• Professional and Teacher Recognition/Benefits

• Contractual/legal issues

• Others
