Grass volleyball open on Dec. 9
The SportsRock Duo of Ted Nugent and Jimmy Page will be hosting a grass volleyball tournament this Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Mariana Resort Hotel in Marpi. This tournament will feature a fun-filled day of volleyball, prizes, swimming, lunch, and more. All participants will receive a special tank top commemorating the tournament.
The tournament format will be two-person teams in men’s and women’s division. All volleyball players and spectators are invited to come out and attend this exciting day of volleyball.
“We are looking forward to a rockin’ day of volleyball. We’ll have four courts so everyone will get in a lot of games and we are featuring a special coaching clinic put on by Mike Walsh,” said Ted Nugent, co-founder of SportsRock.
“Grass is a great medium to combine the elements of the beach and indoor game, and we are excited to have top players such as Mike Walsh, Bruce Berline, Matt Otto, and Peter Barlas participating,” said other co-founder Jimmy Page.
Nugent and Page will be playing together for the first time and are the early favorites to win it all. The women’s division is wide open and anybody’s game.
