Christmas programming on KRNM 88.1 and 89.1 FM

Saipan Radio Theater presented and hour-long Christmas programs that started Tuesday followed by The Novel Hour. These programs will be aired again on Saturday at 11:00 a.m..

The special programming will be as follows:

Christmas Music in various languages will be interspersed throughout these productions.

Saipan Radio Theater presentations will be repeated on the Saturday of Dec. 9., 16., and 23.

The Miracle on the 34th Streets and It’s a Wonderful Life are radio versions of the original movies with the original casts like Natalie Wood, James Stewart, and others.

These radio programs were originally aired on The Lux Radio Theater” or around the original movie’s release date.

A Christmas Carol is a Friends of the Arts production recorded at Marianas High School this year with a huge community cast from various public and private junior and senior high schools and the college, as well as the general community at large.

Of special interest will be the Christmas Music in Chamorro that will be played through out the programs, and will be featured on their own program Tuesday, Dec. 19.
