Man hurt in car accident
Christopher Rengiil, 44, was not so lucky last Sunday as he found himself being treated for injuries at the Commonwealth Health Center.
At around 1:03 am, Mr. Rengiil was outside his house when he went over his car and fixed the stereo system. He forgot that he had released the vehicle’s hand brake.
As he was standing near the vehicle, the car rolled over his right toe and hit the left side of his body.
Tourist nabbed for shoplifting
Japanese tourist Miki Takamatsu, 31, was arrested by police on Dec. 31, 2000 at around 10 pm after she was caught stealing worth $1,000 of goods at DFS. The items she allegedly stole include a pair of sunglasses, necklace, earrings, watch, lighter, perfume, makeup, key chains and clothes.
