Bad and lasting impression

I was very surprised to read in the newspaper the Administration has mislead the Korean investors who are interested to invest $25 million into our CNMI to develop an international shooting range resort on Saipan, Tinian and Rota. This will surely give the CNMI bad image to other potential investors. I wonder what was the real reason for the Administration to change its position.

Dear Editor,

I was very surprised to read in the newspaper the Administration has mislead the Korean investors who are interested to invest $25 million into our CNMI to develop an international shooting range resort on Saipan, Tinian and Rota. This will surely give the CNMI bad image to other potential investors. I wonder what was the real reason for the Administration to change its position.

Very interesting, a year or so ago the Administration gave an impression to the Korean investors that an international shooting range resort in the CNMI will be supported. However, the Governor’s action still can be corrected to avoid the CNMI a bad reputation to other potential investors.

I take off my hat to our Congressmen and Senators for their concern about our poor economic situation, as a result, the Senate unanimously approved the amended House Bill No. 12-212 and the House of Representative without delay also approved it. You all are truly economic leaders.

House Bill 12-212 is back at you, again. Please override the Governor’s veto for the sake of reviving our economy, increasing our general funds, and providing employment opportunity for those locals that are still unemployed (lots of them).

You all know that enough safety measures addressed in House Bill No. 12-212 that will not compromise the safety of the people. Just remember that you all will appreciated more by majority of our constituents if you revitalize our economy. Champion this investment of $25 million to provide employment opportunity to your constituents and you all will win this year’s election.

Do us all a favor and deliver your campaign promises to fix our economy. Override the governor’s vet on House Bill No.12-212.
