Two young Chamorro men appeared for a preliminary hearing before the Superior Court yesterday in connection with theft and burglary incidents that occurred at the Northern Marianas College, William S. Reyes Elementary School, and Marianas Resort Hotel.

Chief Prosecutor Kevin Lynch named the defendants as Patrick James Mansfield, 19 and Mark Tababa Tesero, 21 who were employed as security guards at the Secure West Security Agency.

The third suspect, Peter Floresca Tababa, 20 was previously released to a third party custodian.

Police reports said all three crimes in three separate points of Saipan occurred at the time when the three young men were on duty.

Mr. Mansfield and Mr. Tesero will again appear in court for an arraignment on Tuesday, February 20.
