DEQ’s Clean-up Brigade’s meeting last month was very eventful. Not only did Sugar Dock get a good cleaning, several of the Brigade members were awarded for their notable contribution to preservation of Saipan’s beaches.

DEQ applauds their continued efforts.

This month’s Brigade clean-up will be held at Coral Ocean Point on March 3. Volunteers can meet at 8:00am at the Coral Ocean Beach. Those who are not familiar with how to get to Coral Ocean Point may meet a DEQ representative at the COP parking lot in Koblerville.

After the clean-up, brigade members who have participated in at least 3 brigade events will receive their bright green T-shirt. Those members who have participated in at least 10 brigade events will join the ranks of the “Gold” brigade and receive hats.

This is a clean-up that shouldn’t be missed. For more information please contact DEQ at 664-8500.
