Hyatt Regency Saipan yesterday announced the introduction of its after school speech and acting series. The innovative instructional program is designed for children ages 7-12.

The program consists of four weakling sessions held 3:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon, from Monday to Friday. Classes begin on March 26. Enrollment application must be received by March 21.

The subjects covered are: Improvisation and Mime, Oral Interpretation, Drama/Solo, Dual/Group.

Parents enroll their child in one or more sessions. The cost for the program is: $60 for one session; two sessions, $110; three sessions, $150; and $180 for four sessions.

Camp Hyatt director Susan Fishman will spearhead the program. Among her many qualifications, Ms. Fishman has a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Communication, and she has a long history of involvement in Community Theater as both actor and producer.

Ms. Fishman is the president of Friends of the Arts, and is currently in production with the play South Pacific. There will be many benefits for the children participating in this program.
