The Reading and Books Week is part of concerted efforts to improve reading capabilities and comprehension of students in the elementary level.

Ms. Villagomez said by inviting key personalities to read books along with students, the school hopes to raise the reading level of students in accordance to SVES reform program.

For the whole week, students were given books to read along with the invited guests such as Nancy Flood, Pamela Mathis, Ana Teregeyo, Susan Shwarz among others.

Students were inspired to write their own books which they read to visiting parents yesterday.
