Care the Lions Club way
Lions Clubs on Saipan are actively involved in voluntary community services since the first organization was established and chartered under the International Association of Lions Clubs District 204 of Guam in the late 1980s.
Saipan Marianas Lions Club, chartered on May 22, 1999, is one of the four active and surviving clubs in Region 2 (Saipan). The organization has been providing services to the CNMI community through various projects.
It has lined up projects that will benefit school children, including additional concrete tables and benches; barbecue pit, basketball court/goal boards; flag poles; trash receptacles and other minor repairs and improvements at school and beach areas.
SMLC recently turned over some concrete tables to the Hopwood Junior High School, which was adopted by the organization for its continuing community volunteer services project.
