Men charged of assault and battery
At least three separate assault and battery criminal suits have been filed at the Commonwealth Superior Court last week, including the case of a 23-year-old man accused of beating a woman allegedly due to an incident that occurred last Valentine’s day.
Defendant Wanit Jamnorgnok from San Vicente has been charged with two counts of assault and battery and disturbing the peace due to a February 14, 2001 incident.
The CNMI government has also lodged criminal complaints against a Pacific Islands Club Security Guard for allegedly causing bodily harm to a woman last November 18, 2000.
Augustine George Ikesakes otherwise known as Augustino George Ikesakes, 40, from Kagman III has been summoned to court to answer to assault and battery and disturbing the peace charges.
A 28-year-old man residing at Prince Hotel in Sadog Tase has also been ordered to appear in court for assault and battery and disturbing the peace complaints.
The defendant, Cyprian Gamow, is accused of unlawfully striking, beating, and wounding a lady victim last December 8, 2000.
