Koblerville Elementary School is sponsoring two events designed to promote literacy this week. The first event is the Young Author’s Book Fair which displays books written by KES students. The Young Author’s Book Fair will take place on April 26 from 7:30am to 6:30pm at the school library.

All parents and community members are welcome to come and see what great works the students have been producing.

The second event is a Scholastic Book Fair. KES is selling books from Scholastic, Inc. that are of high quality and high interest to students in order to promote reading for pleasure at home.

Examples of books that are being sold include Arthur, Franklin, Clifford, Winnie the Pooh, Magic School Bus, Goosebumps, etc.

The books are a bargain to parents because they are sold at discounted rates. Profits from the sales will be used to purchase additional books for the classroom libraries. The Scholastic Books will be sold on April 26 from 3pm to 6:30pm outside the school library and on April 27 from 7:30am to 2:30pm in Room 119 at KES.
