The Northern Mariana Islands Triathlon Federation (NMITF) will be holding the 12th NMITF All Kids Triathlon on May 5, 2001, at 6:30am in Marpi. Exact location will be announced at a later date.

Registration will start at 6am and each child must register not later than 6:20am. The triathlon will begin at 6:30am sharp.

The triathlon will consist of a short ocean swim (swim goggles recommended), a bike ride (bike helmet mandatory) and a run. If a child is not comfortable with all events, he or she can form a team.

All participants must be able to swim (unless part of a team), ride a bicycle and be prepared to have fun. The emphasis will be on fun and safety.

The entry fee is $2 per child. There will be prizes for participation. Prizes will be awarded after the triathlon.

NMITF looks forward to seeing all participants on Saturday morning, May 5, 2001. For further information or those who would like to volunteer their help, may contact Kathryn Sinclair at 322-3773 or Bill Sakovich at 234-1001.
