KAG holds Cultural Day

The Kagman Elementary School has lined up various activities for its Cultural Day, which will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 8:30 am to 3pm at the school campus.

The school would be selling lunch bento, homemade snacks, fresh fruits and vegetables during the event. It is also organizing a special program that will be filled with song and dance numbers from KAG students, as well as parlor games and a raffle draw.

OES advisory on school transfer

All parents or guardians of Oleai Elementary School’s sixth grade students who have previously registered at the Hopwood Junior High School and decided to enroll at a different school are asked to inform the OES administration or guidance counselor, who will be forwarding all sixth grade cumulative folders to the HJHS during the latter part of June.

Once the cumulative folders are forwarded to the HJHS, parents and guardians would have to deal with the counselors there. Call the OES guidance counselor’s office at 664-3942 and look for Cecile Romolor-Route.

RP consulate’s new office hours

In a continuing effort to improve its services, the Philippine Consulate General on Saipan yesterday announced that starting May 1, 2002, it will be open from 9am to 4pm with no noon break. This new work schedule is in line with the thrust of the Philippine Consulates General in the U.S. to synchronize procedures and maintain a uniform system for all posts.

Similarly, the Consulate General will issue passport application forms bearing a new format and reduce the processing time for passports to one working day.
