Saipan Chamber meeting today

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will hold its general membership meeting today, May 1, at the Dai-Ichi Hotel’s Azucena I and II. Labor and Immigration Secretary Jack Tenorio will be the guest speaker.
Doors will be open at 11:30am and the meeting will come to order at 11:45am.
The Chamber recently welcomed its newest members: Louis Vuitton and Chanel who will be introduced at the meeting. For membership information, call 235-7150.
Chamber President Richard A. Pierce also announced the unveiling of the jobs online website, which will take place at today’s meeting. He is encouraging everyone to visit the site at: www. cnmijobs.com. The wedsite has been in the planning stage for over a year now.
Events committee chairman Alex Sablan said, “the site is a resource of job opportunities in the CNMI and would interest persons on- and off-island. In addition, employers can view resumes by category or post a job opening at a very reasonable fee.
All Chamber members are encouraged to attend the general membership meeting. Guests may join the meeting for $10 per person. Reservations are recommended.
