Rota golf meeting set

Rota Golf Association will like to inform all members that there will be a meeting today, May 26, at the residence of Pete Hocog in Annex F at 7pm.

All members are asked to attend this important meeting. Also, the RGA Ace of the Month Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 29, at the Rota Resort and Country Club.

Fee is $40 per players, show time is at 8am, tee time is 8:30am. If you need more information, please contact tournament director Pete Hocog at 287-3289.

May Masters tourney starts on Friday

The 22nd staging of the CNMI May Masters Bowling Tournament will be held this Memorial Day weekend from May 28 to 30 at the Saipan Bowling Center in Oleai.

The mid-year tenpin bowling tournament includes four bowling events: Singles, doubles, team of four bowlers, and masters—with each event offering separate sets of prizes.

Northwest Airlines to hold golf tourney

Northwest Airlines will sponsor the NWA Invitational Golf Tournament on June 13 at the Lao Lao Bay Resort Club west course.

Showtime for the event will be at 11am and shotgun start is schedule at 12 noon.

Organizers would be using an 18-hole, four-player scramble, Double Peoria format for the tournament and cash prizes will be given away in the tournament. Entry fee is $100.
