Attention all baseball fans! If you plan on making your way down to the Oleai sports complex for the 2004 Saipan Major League baseball playoffs, bring your radios, because the games are set to be broadcast live beginning with the opening round match-up between the Miller Lite Brewers and the Pirates on Monday, June 14.

Weather permitting, the second place Brewers (8-4) will take on the third place Pirates (6-6) in a best of three showdown to determine who will challenge the defending champion Northern Yankees for the SML Championship.

The first pitch in the race to two will be thrown at 6:30pm, with the live play calling to be aired on 97.9 FM. Game 2 is set to be played Wednesday night, June 16 and a third game will be played Friday, June 18, if necessary.

The winner in the battle of the second and third place teams will take on the defending champion Northern Yankees in a best of five series.

All games are set for 6:30 starts at the Francisco M. Palacios Baseball Field.
