Power outage set today

There will be a power outage today on Feeder 4 lasting from 1pm to 4pm, according to the Power Division of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.

This outage will affect the following areas: from Agag Well to Togawa’s residence (former Lt. Governor Pedro Tenorio or along Papago Drive). All residences within this area will be affected, except the Agag Well itself. No traffic lights will be affected.

In a statement, the division said the outage is needed to install two mid-span of power poles and to retire one primary power pole. An outage is required in order to complete this upgrade.

“This interruption is necessary to allow CUC linemen to work on de-energized power lines safely,” the division said. “CUC requests the cooperation and patience of people driving and residing in these areas while the work is completed.”
